The construction of the mosque and Imambargah began in 1951 under the patronage of Atta Hussain son of Khan Alam. Later, it was felt that in order to carry out this construction work effectively,
It is necessary to establish a trust for MOIN-UL-AZA Trust was initially established on 16 June 1959 with the aim of constructing a mosque and an Imambargah for the Muslims of Chak No. 185 EB Gago Mandi, District Sahiwal (now District Vehari). The founding members of the trust included Atta Hussain son of Khan Alam Khan, Mir Alam Khan son of Shah Alam Khan, Samand Khan son of Sikandar Khan, Ghulam Muhammad Khan son of Ahmed Khan and Fakhr Alam son of Sher Alam Khan. It is important to mention here that for the construction of the mosque and Imambargah, Atta Hussain son of Khan Alam Khan donated his personal land No. 2/35 located at Chak No. 185/EB Gago Mandi, District Sahiwal in the year 1951.
The current district was endowed with a watershed, which was later approved for construction by the Rehabilitation Division.
After the death of Atta Hussain son of Khan Alam Khan and Samand Khan son of Sikandar Khan, the members of the Trust were increased on 1 January 1969. Mir Alam Khan son of Shah Alam Khan, Ghulam Muhammad Khan son of Ahmed Khan and Fakhr Alam Khan son of Sher Alam Khan were retained as members of the Trust. Mumtaz Alam Khan son of Mir Alam Khan, Hassan Alam Khan son of Atta Hussain, Sultan Alam Khan and Muhammad Irshad Khan were added to the new members.
